How DevSexy handles tool inputs, website visits, payments and license activation.
Tool inputs stay local
Browser tools process input on your device. The tool workflow does not upload your pasted text or selected files to DevSexy. Generated output stays in the workbench until you copy or download it.
Website visits
Hosting infrastructure receives ordinary connection information when you visit the site. When website analytics is enabled, it measures page paths and conversion events. Tool input, license keys and checkout confirmation tokens are not included in these events. Checkout return pages do not load analytics.
Purchases and activation
Dodo Payments processes purchases. The billing service stores order correlation, payment and entitlement status, and device activation information for delivery and support. License keys are handled for delivery and activation; the local billing projection stores only their last four characters. The Mac app contacts license services to activate, validate or deactivate a license.
Local storage and questions
The website uses a language preference cookie, an anonymous checkout cookie and tab storage to recover an in-progress checkout. The Mac app stores license state in Keychain. Contact support about a purchase or data request using the order reference, without sending sensitive tool input.
